The Prime Minister Boris Johnson is out of intensive care.
According to Downing Street officials, the 55-year-old has been moved out of the intensive care unit where he has been undergoing treatment for coronavirus.
A No.10 spokesman said Mr Johnson had been returned to the ward at St Thomas' Hospital as his condition continued to improve.
The spokesman said: "The Prime Minister has been moved this evening from intensive care back to the ward, where he will receive close monitoring during the early phase of his recovery.
"He is in extremely good spirits."
Mr Johnson was admitted to the ICU three days ago as his coronavirus symptoms worsened.
Foreign Secretary, Dominc Raab stepped in to deputise while the PM received treatment.
