OVER 16,000 residents in Hyndburn are being asked to take part in a major survey to help shape the development of new homes.
The survey, being completed on behalf of Hyndburn Council, aims to collect details about people's housing needs and aspirations.
The responses will influence housing and planning policies and aim to ensure investment in affordable housing matches local needs as closely as possible.
Council leader Peter Britcliffe said: "This is an important consultation exercise for local residents of Hyndburn."
