This is the biggest increase in deaths since the coronavirus outbreak began.
At the Downing Street press conference on Tuesday, Michael Gove, said that the rise in the number of deaths in the UK was 'deeply shocking'.
He revealed that it's still unknown when peak of the pandemic in the UK will occur.
Mr Gove said: "There's not a fixed date like Easter when you know that the peak will come, it depends on the actions of all of us. We can delay the peak, we can flatten the curve through our own particular actions."
