A BURY man is set to appear before a crown court judge accused of arson offences.
Brendan Kenneth Carr, 36, of St Paul's Court, St Paul's Street, appeared before a special remand court in Manchester on Saturday.
Carr was charged with arson at a supported accommodation property belonging to Next Stage between 5.45pm and 6.10pm on Thursday, March 12, reckless as to whether the life of another was endangered and with intent to destroy or damage the unit. He also faces an alternate offence relating only to arson and the damaged caused.
Carr was sent for trial to Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court and remanded in custody until April 8.
