A LONG-running music festival in the borough will take place this weekend.
Ramsbottom Music Festival, which has been running for more than 25 years for amateur musicians, will take over several venues across the township.
Woodhey High, Greenmount United Reformed Church and Greenmount Primary will all host classes for the festival, which are overseen by professional adjudicators.
The Saturday will focus on the schools categories and the Sunday has been set aside for instrumental and vocal entries.
