A NEW production is waiting in the wings for Blackburn Arts Club.
Actors from the Gibraltar Street based amateury dramatics group are in rehearsals for Prescription for Murder.
Written by Norman Robbins and directed by Mike Ashton, the play will be staged at the Clubhouse Theatre from Wednesday, March 4, to Saturday, March 7, nightly from 7.30pm.

Later this year the club, which has been at the same theatre now for 60 years and was formed in 1946, is planning a performance of Peter Quilter’s Curtain Up.
