THE Audiology department at the Royal Bolton Hospital is supporting the British Tinnitus Association's (BTA) tinnitus week, which is set to run from Monday, February 3 to Friday, February 7.
The theme for the week is going to be tinnitus research, with the hospital saying the week is a "great opportunity" to showcase research that is currently going on in the UK, research the BTA is itself involved in and what the future holds for the condition.
The tinnitus team at the Royal Bolton Hospital say that they are committed to providing early intervention for people who experience tinnitus and support research.
In the week, the Bolton Tinnitus Support group is meeting at Café Italia in Moss Bank Way between 7pm and 9pm.
The group shares experiences and advice on helping to manage tinnitus.
The free event will also see the Royal Bolton Hospital Tinnitus team facilitating the meeting and on hand to answer any questions.
