LABOUR deputy leadership candidate Angela Rayner is due in East Lancashire tonight seeking support for her campaign.
The shadow education secretary is scheduled to speak to party members and supporters at 6.30pm at Blackburn's Grand Venue in Harrison Street.
Her campaign website says: "Hear why Angela wants to be deputy leader, why she needs your vote and how you could get involved in the campaign."
Blackburn Constituency Labour Party Secretary Cllr Phil Riley said: "It is important that members are able to hear the views of candidates for the party's leadership and deputy leadership."
