CAR OWNERS have been warned to keep an eye out for thieves after police received reports of men "acting suspiciously".
Residents in Highfield and Harper Green reported seeing the unusual behaviour yesterday (Thursday) prompting officers to send out warnings on Facebook.
A spokesman for GMP said: "Please be aware we've had numerous reports of males acting suspicious around parked motor vehicles.
"Don't make your vehicle an easy target.
"Remember to lock your cars, remove any valuables and keep your keys safe with you when you go to bed."
Anyone who sees anything suspicious should report it to police via 101 or use the online live chat on www.police.gmp.uk.
