A DEAL between the University of Bolton and an Indian hospital group has been highlighted as a key 2019 business achievement.
Dr Kondal Reddy Kandadi signed an agreement with the Apollo group during a Manchester India Partnership trade mission in November.
And now the regional Growth Company has listed the trip as one of its international success stories, as part of their business plan review for the half-year.
Dr Kandadi said then: "For the university it is a fantastic global collaboration. It is specifically focused on skills shortages and workforce development in health disciplines."
The university, which already had a memorandum of understanding with Apollo, is working on plans for an MBA in healthcare management.
Deals were also struck by Salford University with a Bangalore education council and between Manchester Museum and the Partition Museum in Delhi.
