Motorists warned about congestion after vehicle fire on M65
MOTORISTS are being warned about very slow traffic and delays on the M65 this morning.
The incident took place on the eastbound carriageway from Junction 7 (Rishton and Accrington) to Junction 8 (Accrington).
There is also congestion to Junction 6 at the Blackburn and Whitebirk roundabout.

All lanes have re-opened but traffic is affected between Blackburn and Burnley.
Reports indicated that the vehicle was blocking one lane at the end of the eastbound entry slip road down to the main carriageway.
