PUNK will live again when an exhibition dedicated to the East Lancashire scene takes place early next month.
Founder member of Chumbawamba Boff Whalley, with Stephen Hartley and photographer Casey Orr have pulled together 'Sick of Being Normal'.
An exploration in music, words and print, the project covers the punk explosion in Burnley and Pendle around 1979-80.
The likes of Screeech Rock, MeLeon, Ruthless Poetry, Burnley Boppers, Sage and Gaz from Notsensibles will assemble for a gathering in That 0282 Place in Burnley Central Library on Saturday, February 8, from 7pm. Part of the Pendle Radicals initiative and supported by Mid Pennine Arts, tickets for the event are £8 and are available from Astonishing Sounds, MPA and the library.
