A MAN has been spared losing his driving licence after he was caught driving a car on Buckley Lane, Farnworth, on June 29 without insurance.
At Manchester Magistrates’ Court Jake Kirkman, aged 25, of Ash Grove, Worsley, pleaded guilty to committing the offence in a Peugeot 208.
He was fined £460 plus £131 in costs and charges and six penalty points were added to his licence but magistrates decided not to ban him from the roads as he would lose his job and it would have an adverse effect on his family.
