The Big Snowy Christmas

The Met, Bury

Last performances, 11am and 1pm tomorrow (Christmas Eve)

IF you are looking for a Christmas Eve treat to delight little ones, grab tickets for this heart-warming show before it leaves town.

The Big Snowy Christmas is on at The Met in Bury and tells the story of Baby Bear, who needs to be brave in a bid to save Christmas.

The interactive show features music, singing, jokes and fun galore as Baby Bear heads off on his quest.

There is a lovely message behind the enchanting tale as the recipients receive presents capturing the true meaning of Christmas.

It is aimed at three to six-year-olds but there were smaller, and bigger, children who seemed just as captivated — along with their grown ups.

There was even an appearance from Father Christmas himself with a photo opportunity after the hour-long show.

This is Little Blue Monster Productions' third Christmas show at The Met, following their success with Santa’s Little Helper in 2017, and Lily and the Christmas Snow Bear in 2018.

It sees two actors playing Daddy Bear and Baby Bear, as well as the other characters, and their enthusiasm did not falter.

There were squeals of delight as Baby Bear ran amongst the crowd, water pistols were fired and snowballs thrown.

A perfect festive outing for families this Christmas.
