VOTERS are almost ready to go to the polls on Thursday and parties are using everything in their arsenals in last ditch attempts to claim seats.

Just two days until voting opens and the heavy hitters are out in force pounding pavements across the country.

The Bolton News caught up the party leaders to find out what they are promising Bolton if they win the election.

Reporter HELENA VESTY questioned him on the Tory pledge that Bolton will get trams if they claim a victory this week.

Shadow Chancellor John McDonnell spoke to reporter BILL JACOBS about Labour plans to bring investments to the North West.
