A LEADING security firm in Bolton has reaffirmed its commitment to ongoing growth with a key appointment.

KCS, also known as Key Control Security Services, has secured a number of new clients in recent months.

And with demand from existing customers also mushrooming, the Sunset Business Park outfit has unveiled a new operations director.

Paul Hayne, who had been general manager, has been given the task of developing their ambitions further, which should see the launch of a number of new services.

Bosses say his focus will be on the customer experience and delivery, which they hope will drive expansion.

Managing director Phil Thompson said: "The business has always prioritised internal promotion and appointments.

"Paul's appointment is well deserved and recognises his outstanding contribution to the business over the last couple of years.

"His appointment is key to our expansion plans, he is well respected and has extensive industry experience that will enable us to strengthen the commercial framework already in place to ensure KCS continues to achieve even greater success."

He said the appointment demonstrates their commitment to training and career development.

Mr Haynes added: "This is an exciting time, the security landscape is rapidly evolving, and we are expanding our service offerings to address this.

"I am a great believer in harnessing the ideas and innovative thinking of the extended management team.

"Like any great and successful team, it means all of us working as one strong, tightly knit family to support our clients.

"I am thoroughly delighted with my promotion and relish the opportunity of developing new services to meet the demands of our customers.

"KCS is leading the way and I look forward to helping businesses address their security requirements now and in the future."

Last month the company also welcomed Rob Walker, a former Oldham Athletic player, to act as their operations supervisor. He had previously been with KCS for three years, before rejoining as a team leader.

He said: "I'm very happy about my promotion. I have a great working relationship with (Paul Haynes) and enjoy working here, which provides a really valuable service to our clients."

The company already offers a diverse range of services, from manned guarding to key holder functions, alarm response, mobile patrols and vacant property checks and their operatives are recognised by everyone from Greater Manchester Chambers of Commerce to the Security Industry Association and Federation of Small Businesses.
