A FORMER councillor is organising a reunion for ex-Shadsworth High School pupils and staff.
Two reunion events are being held at the former Shadsworth School site, on Saturday December 7, at 10am and 2pm.
Naushad Surve, who represented Little Harwood ward, is particularly keen on getting in touch with former teachers of Shadsworth and Blakewater College.
Mr Surve said: “Many former students, some of whom are now in their 60s and 70s, have requested to have one final look at their former school for a long time now.
“Shadsworth was a special place for many people and most have not had the chance to pay another visit.
“We hope that this reunion will give former pupils the opportunity to fulfil that wish.”
