POLICE are very concerned for the safety of a missing Blackburn pensioner.

David Taylor, 68, has been reported missing from the Shadsworth area of the town.

He was last seen at approximately 10am on Thursday.

Mr Taylor is described as white male, 5ft 10ins, of a slim build, with a balding head.

He was last seen wearing black and white camouflaged/chequered pants, black velcro shoes, a yellow high vis jacket, a black hat, with a brown over the shoulder bag,

Mr Taylor was wheeling a purple with white flowers shopping trolley, which he uses for stability.

A police spokesman said: "We would urge anybody who has seen David or has any information relating to David's whereabouts to contact Lancashire Police on 101 quoting log 0306 of 22nd November 2019 as the police are very concerned for his welfare."
