Police have discovered a cannabis farm in the attic of a Bolton home while they were carrying out searches in relation to a burglary.
On Thursday, officers in Bromley Cross arrested a 33-year-old man on suspicion of burglary in connection with a high value burglary that took place on Sunday November 3 at a premises on Dunscar Industrial Estate in Egerton.
Following the arrest, a number of addresses across the Tonge Moor and Breightmet area were searched by police.
During one of the searches, a cannabis farm with 24 cannabis plants was located in the attic.
The 33-year-old man was interviewed by officers but was released pending further investigation.
