Two men have been charged with dangerous driving and motor vehicle offences after the car they were driving allegedly failed to stop for police and crashed with two other vehicles.
The alleged incident took place shortly after 12.30am on Saturday November 9, as police attempted to stop a BMW on Bury Old Road in Prestwich.
Lee Downie, 25, of Cross Lane, Radcliffe, has been charged with aggravated vehicle taking, dangerous driving, driving other than in accordance with a driving licence and driving without relevant car insurance.
He will appear at Manchester Crown Court on Monday December 9.
Tyler Waterhouse, 26, of Northridge Road, Manchester, has been charged with taking a vehicle without the owner’s permission and consenting to be carried in a stolen motor vehicle.
Waterhouse will appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court on Wednesday November 13.
