A MAN has been taken to hospital after a crash on the M60 involving two vehicles.
North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) were called to the collision on the clockwise carriageway of the motorway, at Junction 19 for Heaton Park and the A576 for Middleton Road.
Two men were assessed by paramedics at the scene, one of whom has been taken to North Manchester General Hospital. The men are described as having minor injuries.
Drivers are experiencing delays on the M60 due to the crash, which occurred at about 7.30am.
An NWAS spokeswoman said: "We were called at 7.30am to Junction 19 on the M60 to reports of a collision involving two vehicles.
"We sent an ambulance and a rapid response vehicle to the scene.
"We assessed two male patients on the scene. One person has been taken to hospital.
"The two men are believed to have minor injuries."
Traffic officers and Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service also attended the incident.
Highways England tweeted at about 7.45am: "M60 clockwise at #J19 (#HeatonPark) currently has 2 lanes closed due to a collision.
"@NWAmbulance are en-route. Traffic Officers & @manchesterfire are on scene."
There was also a collision near to Junction 19 yesterday morning, which caused delays for drivers.
An NWAS spokeswoman said: "We were called to Junction 19 shortly after 6am yesterday but no ambulance was required."
