THERE are major delays on the M60 near Prestwich following a crash this morning.
Highways England traffic officers and Greater Manchester Police were called to the scene. A maintenance crew also attended.
One lane was shut on the clockwise carriageway of the motorway at Junction 19 for Heaton Park due to the collision.
The road has since been reopened and the vehicle involved has been moved to the hard shoulder.
Highways England North West tweeted at about 6.45am: "UPDATE - #M60 clockwise at #J19 (#HeatonPark) - This has been moved to the hard shoulder, all closures removed, traffic should start to be moving past scene."
There was previously congestion backing up to Junction 18 for the M66/M62 at Simister Island.
