GENEROUS Prestatyn primary school pupils and their parents have marked harvest by sharing food with the most vulnerable

On the last day of half-term pupils from Ysgol Clawdd Offa, Prestatyn, have gathered food to help support the Prestatyn and Meliden Foodbank.

Teacher Darren Murray agreed: "It's been excellent and humbling to see how for the second year in a row our parents, pupils, families and staff have got behind this.

"To be able to support our local community in this way is so important and we are looking at other ways how we can support Prestatyn and Meliden foodbank in the future."

"During the school year we support many different charities and good causes, but this one really focuses on our local community and that's what makes it so special to us as a school.

"The foodbank was made up with out donation and said that it would go towards providing food parcels for local individuals and families."
