THIS shocking footage shows the moment when youths aimed fireworks at police in Blackburn last night.
Blackburn with Darwen Police posted a video on their social media pages of some young people aiming them at police and have vowed to review the footage to try to catch them.
They said: "This sort of behaviour not only has the potential to start fires and endanger life (including themselves), but it also has the potential to take a much needed police vehicle off the streets.
"Sadly, it wasn't just the police who were targeted, as Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service (Official) were also subjected to the same behaviour.
"If we don't have the vehicles, we can't respond to 999 calls when you need us most.
"Parents, please speak to your children.
"It's vital that they know that their behaviour could not only land them in a cell, but they could kill someone.

"Rest assured though, we have been reviewing footage and gathering evidence. Those responsible can expect a bigger bang on their door... #knockknock"
