A WOMAN died from liver failure after taking an overdose of paracetamol.
An inquest in Bolton heard how 35-year-old Kimberley Drinnan was admitted to the Royal Bolton Hospital on September 27.
"She had a history of emotionally unstable personality disorder, depression and high alcohol intake," said police coroner's officer Andrew Pickles.
"Despite aggressive treatment she had a cardiac arrest and was pronounced life extinct on September 30."
Acting senior coroner Alan Walsh was told that a postmortem revealed the paracetamol had resulted in liver failure.
The inquest about Miss Drinnan, who was unemployed and lived in Oakford Walk, Deane, was adjourned and a full hearing will be held on January 28 next year.
