CONTROVERSIAL housing plans have been withdrawn by developers.
An application to build more than 100 houses on the former Roscoe's Farm in Westhoughton was withdrawn by Miller Homes last week.
The developers had put plans for 128 three and four bedroom homes to Bolton Council at the end of last year.
Since then, the land has been bought by a new developers named Northstone, a branch of Peel L&P, and 19 houses are now under construction.
Plans for a further 131 homes are awaiting council approval, sent in for consideration by Northstone in July.
