7. Director of finance

East Lancashire Hospitals Trust is seeking to appoint an outstanding director of finance to shape the financial structure, direction and reputation of the trust both internally, across Pennine Lancashire and Lancashire and South Cumbria system.

Strong leadership, interpersonal and negotiation skills will be essential and you will bring the gravitas to influence and engage our stakeholders in the trust and externally.

Salary: Competitive. The former director of finance Jonathan Wood was on £145,000 to £150,000 at the end of the 2018/2019 financial year.

8. Consultant in emergency medicine

9. Consultant in acute medicine

The successful applicants will play a pivotal role in the care of the acutely ill patient, working alongside the nine consultants in acute medicine (with the planned expansion to 12 Acute physicians and a number of speciality doctors).

Acute medicine is part of the integrated care group division of the trust and works closely with the emergency department to provide high quality care to a catchment population of approximately 520,000.

Salary: £77,913 to £105,042 per annum
