AN introduction to reflexology during IVF treatment eventually led to a business brainwave for one mum.
Catherine Hunter retrained as a reflexologist, after a career as a medical receptionist.
The 45-year-old, from Sharneyford, started off by volunteering at Sure Start in Todmorden before taking a room at Pioneer Health Studio.
She moved with the studio, when it relocated from Riverside to the Pioneer Buildings, but with 350 clients on her books needed extra space.
Catherine has now secured premises nearby, in St James Street, and is looking to make the most of Hunter’s Foot Health Clinic.
She said: “This is something I have been working towards over the past three years, but the time wasn’t right - now it is.”
Mayor Cllr Barbara Ashworth officially opened the clinic.
