Fire crews responded to early morning reports that a car had been set on fire in Burnley.
One appliance from Burnley fire station attended the incident in Cameron Street, at around 3.26am on Friday.
The car was on the road and was well alight when crews arrived.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: "The vehicle was well alight when crews arrived and they quickly extinguished the fire using two hose reels.
"The cause of the fire is believed to be suspicious and a joint investigation alongside the police is now underway."
