BOLTON Central Fire Station will be opening its doors to the public on Saturday.
The station on Moor Lane is staging its hugely popular open day for all the family.
There will be a children's fire engine in which youngsters can enjoy rides.
There will also be demonstrations to showcase the many different skills of firefighters when they are faced with everything from a fire to a road traffic collision.
The army will also be present.
And the open day provides a chance for people to pick up vital safety advice to protect themselves and their families from their local firefighters.
The open day runs from 10am until 4pm and is a one of series taking place across the brigade.
