A BUS station employee was thrown against a wall after telling a man to stop smoking inside the terminus.
At about 9.30pm on Friday, June 21, staff at Bolton Interchange responded to a fire alarm being activated at bus Stand E.
A man was asked if he had been smoking inside the station.
However, he then became verbally abusive before grabbing a member of staff and throwing them against the wall.
Police say that he continued giving out verbal abuse as he walked away from the scene.
Officers have now released an image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with assault and criminal damage.
Anyone with any information about the assault and damage is asked to contact police on 0161 856 5737 quoting incident number 2346 of 21/06/19.
