POLICE are searching for information on people behind two burglaries during which a car was stolen.
Officers were called to burglaries in Cemetery Road, in Kearsley, and Havisham Close, in Lostock, during the earlier hours of this morning.
A white VW Polo was taken during the course of break ins, but was later recovered.
Bolton hub commander, Insp. Karen Clappison, said: “Officers attended a number of reports of burglaries in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
"A VW Polo in white was stolen during one of the breaks has since been recovered and investigations are ongoing to identify the offenders responsible."
The first incident in Kearsley occurred at around 3am and police sent three cars to the scene. The second burglary took place two hours later.
Anyone with CCTV footage of any suspicious people in the early hours is asked to email Insp. Clappison at HUB.K@gmp.police.uk quoting reference 359 31072019.
