THE M61 has fully reopened after emergency services dealt with a crash close to the Kearsley Spur.
The accident, which occurred at around 10.30am, caused one lane of the exit sliproad to be closed, creating tailbacks from Junction 3 (Bolton Road).
Traffic officers were called to the scene and police organised for the vehicle to be removed by recovery services.
A representative from the North West Ambulance Service confirmed they had received a call but said that paramedics were "stood down", with no injuries reported.
