POLICE who attended a domestic were locked out of the house when they stepped outside to talk to the man who had called them.

Blackburn magistrates heard Kelly Ann Noone, who was heavily intoxicated, appeared naked at the bedroom window shouting at the officers and her partner.

Noone, 34, of Venice Avenue, Burnley, admitted a breach of the peace and was bound over in £50 to keep the peace for six months.

Malcolm Isherwood, prosecuting, said the partner told police Noone had attacked him and he had restrained her.

“When officers arrived he was restraining her on the floor and it was clear she was excessively drunk,” said Mr Isherwood.

“They went outside to speak to her partner and she took the opportunity to lock them all out of the house before appearing naked at a window.”

Gareth Price, defending, said his client’s partner had been working away leaving her to cope with raising the children.

“That was what caused the argument,” said Mr Price.
