A trailer carrying sheep oveturned in Ridge Avenue, Burnley, blocking the road.
The tractor remained upright, but the trailer overturned at 1.15pm on Saturday, killing four sheep and releasing dozens more.
Firefighters cordoned off the road, stabilised the trailer and helped round up the sheep.
