A BIKER was airlifted to hospital after an accident on a dirt bike track.
The air ambulance along with paramedics and the police attended the scene at the MX Track in Bacup at around 4pm yesterday afternoon.
A man in his 20s was taken to the Royal Preston Hospital with leg injuries after he came off his bike while using the track.
A police spokesman confirmed that officers had been called to help paramedics out.
He said: "We were called to assist with an off-road biker who had crashed at a track in East Lancashire.
"Paramedics, police and members of the public worked together to move the biker from the track to the helicopter on rough terrain.
"Pleased to report that the biker will make a full recovery."
The ambulance serviced confirmed that a normal ambulance and the air ambulance had attended the scene.
