INITIAL plans for up to 690 homes on Brackley Golf Course have been waved through by Bolton Council.
Developer MHE Investments have bid to create a “sustainable, safe and attractive” community on the course in Little Hulton, which closed down in 2016.
The proposal, which lies mostly in Salford, was approved by the city council in March.
Planning officers at Bolton Council approved the outline application last week.
It reveals plans to build a mix of two, three and four bedroom properties
A reserved matters application with final details will need to be approved by both councils before the development can go ahead.
