PLANS have been submitted to build five new homes in Radcliffe.
The development is proposed for a site off Siddall Street, which was previously home to a builder's storage yard.
Developer New Century Homes wants to build two blocks of two bedroom homes, as well as a car park.
Plans for seven homes on the site were refused by Bury Council last year after officers concluded that the development would be "seriously detrimental" to residents in Ainsworth Road and Siddall Street.
The site has stood vacant since the builder's storage yard shut in 2015.
Prior to that, the site was in two parts – the south end was a small terrace of houses and the north end of the site was a pickle factory.
