A BLUE fronted Amazon parrot has been missing for more than a week.
Owners of the parrot, Oliver, are distraught after it flew away on Thursday, June 6, in St James Road, Blackburn.
Naila Ahmed, the parrot's owner, said the bird flew away when the family took it outside into the front drive.
She said her children are upset and concerned for the parrots safety.
She said: "We've had Oliver since he was a baby and now he's three years old.
"We don't think he would survive in the wild.
"My youngest daughter, Imaan, has been really upset."
Mrs Ahmed said the bird usually eats sunflower seeds and there is a £200 reward if anyone finds him.
