A SUPERB performance from Kendal Golf Club's Rosie Waller saw her land the Cumbria Veterans Ladies County Championship at Ulverston Golf Club.
This is the third time that Rosie has won the championship having previously lifted the trophy in 2010 and 2015.
The championship started with an 18 hole qualifying event with county vets captain Trudy Hubbard of Ulverston GC winning the best gross on the day.
The top 16 players went through to play match play on the next two days, and Rosie won through to the semi-finals where she saw off Trudy 3&2.
This took Rosie through to the final against Cath Bullman, where she got off to a good start and never relaxed her grip before easing to a 5&4 triumph.
"I'm delighted to have won the championship for the third time as Cumbria Ladies have a really strong veterans' section,” she said.
