ASSOCIATION leaders Atherton will look to extend their winning start to the Bolton League season when they host mid-table Golborne at Higham Park tomorrow.

The hosts have won all three games in the division so far and sit ahead of second-placed Darcy Lever courtesy of one extra bonus point.

Darcy are also at home, against second-bottom Little Hulton while at the other end of the table, winless Daisy Hill welcome Heaton to St James Street.

In the top flight, Horwich RMI lead the way as one of two sides with three wins from three so far and they travel to rock-bottom Bradshaw tomorrow looking to make it a winning quartet.

Level on points, second-placed Farnworth Social Circle have a tough test at home against reigning champions Walkden – The Oval outfit sitting just a place behind their hosts having seen last weekend’s clash with Westhoughton abandoned due to rain.

Fourth-placed Kearsley travel to Adlington and second-bottom Little Lever host Lostock.

In the Greater Manchester League’s top flight, Egerton are on the road at Monton, looking to move up from mid-table with a third win of the league campaign against a side two places below them in the Premier Division.

In Division 1B, leaders Astley and Tyldesley face a tricky trip to third-placed Heyside tomorrow aiming for a sixth win in seven games to maintain their unbeaten start to the campaign.

Meanwhile, Edgworth, who sit fifth, host fourth-placed Whalley Range looking to leapfrog their opponents with victory.

On Sunday, several local teams are in Lancashire Knockout second-round action, including Walkden hosting Garstang and early Premiership pacesetters Horwich RMI and Social Circle clashing at Piggott Park.
