CARING staff at leading Windermere store Lakeland aim to raise a monster £2,126.46 this summer to 'Pay For a Day of Jigsaw Care' at Cumbria’s Children’s Hospice.
That figure represents the entire running costs of the children’s hospice services for a whole 24 hours, and Lakeland staff aim to organise a range of fundraising events in aid of the charity.
“We heard a talk from some of the team at Jigsaw and were inspired and wanted to try and help," said Suzanne Allen, People Project Manager at Lakeland.
“We love baking at Lakeland so have been having fun with cake sales, raffles and have lots of other activities planned towards our fundraising efforts.”
