MORE than 100 signatures were collected by a group trying to raise awareness of global warming.
Climate Action Now were collecting signatures in preparation to send a letter to Blackburn with Darwen Council to encourage the authority to do more to help combat climate change.
Member Marley Gallacher said: “We'll be standing outside the town hall once a month on a Friday to raise awareness of the importance of climate change. The wellbeing of our environment is plummeting rapidly, we are desperately urging councils, schools, governments, parents, teachers, communities and organisations to join in with us and say ‘'es, we are ruining our world, so let’s do something to save it.”
