FIVE men will stand trial on August 5 following the death of a 50-year-old Bury man Raymond Dixon.
Edward Fitzgerald, 50, of Walmersley Road, Bury is accused of murdering 50-year-old Raymond Dixon.
Anthony Dennison, 44, of no fixed address and Lee Hopkinson, 30, of no fixed address, face manslaughter and robbery charges.
And Dean Murray, 50, of Heyside Way, Bury and Wayne Englebert, 40, also of Heyside Way, are accused of perverting the course of justice.
They all appeared at Manchester Crown Court, entered not guilty pleas and have been remanded in custody until the trial.
Mr Dixon's body was found at his Myrtle Street North home on February 12. Police were called by ambulance staff.
