This was the scene as former Darwen man Robert Lund entered the court room in the French town of Albi yesterday, accused of murdering his wife Evelyn.
Friends and family of Evelyn, who was born in Rossendale, were also in court yesterday to witness the start of the trial, which is due to last all week.
