A TWENTY-year-old man is fighting for his life after a hit and run horror crash.

Police say a blue Fiat Sedici collided with two men on a black motorcycle before the driver and passengers of the car made off on foot.

A 20-year-old man was taken to Salford Royal Hospital suffering from life threatening injuries.

A 23-year-old man, who was also on the motorbike, was located later by officers and treated for minor injuries.

Police have launched an investigation and want to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident.

Detective Inspector Lee Moriarty from GMP’s Salford borough said: “First of all my thoughts are with the man as he receives treatment in hospital.

“We have launched an investigation and we are currently searching for the driver and occupants of the blue Fiat.

“We are also keen to hear from anyone who saw the collision, and in particular those who may have dash-cam footage.

“Officers will be in the area as we continue our investigation and I would like to encourage anyone with any questions, concerns or information to speak to them.”

According to a spokesman for Farnworth Community Fire Station, one motorbike and one car collided with a petrol pump.

This morning, police closed a section of Cleggs Lane and Eastham Way, while they dealt with the incident.

Shortly after 9pm on Saturday 11 May 2019 police received a call to Cleggs Lane in Little Hulton to reports that a blue Fiat Sedici had collided with two men on a black motorcycle.

The driver and occupants of the Fiat made off from the scene on foot.
