ANTI-SOCIAL behaviour in Nelson is to be investigated by Pendle Multi-Agency Problem solving (MAPS) team.
The investigation comes after elderly residents in Lomeshaye raised concerns about young people drinking and causing disturbance outside their homes.
There have also been complaints about sexual activity.
It has been suggested by the council that roadside seats, which attract young trouble makers, could be removed.
Highways officers have also had a number of complaints about parked cars blocking the way.
Councillor David Foster said: "There is a problem with anti-social behaviour from young people and this is being taken up by police and the MAPS team.
"Elderly people have been given free spaces to park at Lomeshaye, but parking is still a mayor issue for all residents."
The MAPS team, based at Colne police station, includes representatives from the probation service and Pendle Council to take action against crime and anti-social behaviour.
