FIREFIGHTERS were called to a blazing car in Radcliffe in the early hours of this morning.
A crew from Whitefield Fire Station attended the scene in Lodge Road, where a Hyundai Tucson was on fire.
Tony Wellock, watch manager at Whitefield Fire Station said: "We attributed the cause to a fire that started in the engine compartment, which is not unusual.
"A Mini, which was around two-metres away, was damaged by the heat given off. Its door handles and window trim melted."
Unlike the Hyundai, which is a write-off, the Mini only suffered superficial damage.
Mr Wellock said firefighters were called to the incident at 1am and spent approximately half an hour there.
