FLATS at a terraced property could be converted to a seven-bedroom shared accommodation house.
A total of seven letting rooms would be created if plans for a house in multiple occupation (HMO) in The Haulgh are passed.
The three-storey residential dwelling in Bromwich Street which dates back to the early 20th century is currently unoccupied.
The property was in a poor state of repair when it was acquired, according to the application.
Now, the applicant wants to refurbish the house to create two rooms on the ground floor, three rooms on the first floor and a further two rooms on the top floor.
There would also be a communal lounge and kitchen on the ground floor.
All bedrooms would have en-suite facilities.
The site, located 700 metres east of the town centre, neighbours an open space where the new Bolton Parish Church primary school is being built.
Planning officers are due to make a decision on the application by the end of May.
