Firefighters carry out rescue after cyclist gets hands caught in bike chain
A child had to be freed by firefighters after getting their hand stuck in a bike chain.
The incident took place at a domestic property in Warwick Close, Church, at around 1.45pm on Monday.
A spokesperson from the fire service said: "One fire crew from Hyndburn assisted with an incident at a domestic property in Warwick Close, Church.
"The incident involved a casualty who had their hand stuck in a bike chain."
Firefighters were able to release the child from the chain using bolt croppers, and tended to minor injuries using a first aid kit.
Crews were in attendance approximately fifteen minutes.
